THE BLACK DOG

Dogs as pets and friends to many people have a big place in the lives of the most but what is the place of the dogs in the beliefs? If we ask that question we find a big similarity between islamic belief and egyptian mythology;

In islamic belief after the writings of Quran the sayings of Mohammad is taken as orders or religious facts too so they got big place and power on muslims.

We all know satan so no need to tell bout the Mr. Bad Boy and in islamic belief as most of you know people go to the mosques and pray with the lead of a hodja and in Muhammad's time he was leading the pray and in the prays it's especially wanted that the people praying to be close to each. Muhammad explains it like when people praying are far he could see that satan was walking in spaces between them in the shape of a black dog and try to lead people to bad.

As in the egyptian part we know that gods have different representations and Seth is represented with a black dog with big ears and red eyes especially when in public.

Well as i described the similarity between seth and satan of islam this can prove that our beliefs got ancient sources.
