Probably many of you have seen the movie 21 Grams so know what it was based on! Shortly when a person dies everyone averagely loses 21 grams at time of death so from there some have been saying may it be the weight of the human soul. It is true the every human loses an amount of weight along death.
Now here we come to some religious and mythical stuff as always. As we all know in nearly all beliefs there is a reward and a punishment according to behaviours and worshipping of the believers like heaven and hell.
One of most interesting ones of all these is the belief in egyptian myth: THE FEATHER OF MAAT! It is like this:
When someone dies Thoth the god of knowledge measures the weight of the heart of the dead and if it's lighter than the feather of maat then the dead can have the right to be reincarnated to return the world or simly to go to heaven but if it's heavier then the heart is given to Ammut o be smashed forever!
Here sure no one is taking out anyone's heart it's a symbolic thing so here we can see a similarity between that 21 grams and this myth. Could egyptians weight the human soul? Or as some say if the human soul is a kind of energy could they measure it? No matter what it's a big technology that we haven't reached yet!
P.S.: If we take gods like in my old blogs(MARDUK,120) this makes much more sense about the appearance of heaven and hell belief and the technology of ancients and their gods!
